Holger Kunkat

Holger Kunkat, Vice President Marketing and Product Marketing Holger Kunkat joined SCM Microsystems in July 2008. Previously, he spent seven years in Product Management and Marketing at NXP Semiconductors, including holding the position of Manager of the Product Management for Near Field Communication (NFC).

He has also served for several years as a member of industry standardization bodies and special interest groups, including ECMA, ETSI and the NFC Forum. Since the foundation of the NFC Forum until October 2007, Mr. Kunkat served as Chairman of the Technical Committee and since September 2008 he has also served as chairman of the Devices Working Group. Mr. Kunkat holds a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Technische Fakultät der Christian-Albrechts Universität in Kiel, Germany
