Description: | The International Workshop on NFC 2009 is the first scientific workshop, which is focusing on the area of Near Field Communication (NFC). The workshop will bring together researchers and practitioners in the area of RF & hardware related topics, smartcards & security, applications & services and usability & user experience. The WS-NFC is ideal for addressing the challenges facing the research, development, design, manufacture, deployment and fundamental limits. The workshop aims at a full and detailed discussion of the research issues of Near Field Communication as an integrative concept that covers amongst hardware, software, security, usability and different fields of applications. |

Submission Guidlines and Publication
Please upload your paper into our conference management system. Instructions about styles and paper submission can be found here. All accepted papers will be published as proceedings published by IEEE Computer Society/available at IEEE Explorer.
Authors are invited to submit research and application papers following the IEEE Computer Society Proceedings Manuscripts style: two columns, single-spaced, including figures and references, using 10 fonts, and number each page. Submission papers must not have more than 6 pages representing original, previously unpublished work. Submitted papers will be carefully evaluated based on originality, significance, technical soundness, and clarity of exposition. Contact author must provide the following information for the NFC 09 Workshop web site: paper title, authors' names, affiliations, postal address, phone, fax, and e-mail address of the author(s), about 200-250 word abstract, and about five keywords.
For our blind review process, we kindly ask authors to submit anonymized papers only!
Submission of a paper implies that should the paper be accepted, at least one of the authors will register and present the paper in the conference. Accepted papers will be given guidelines in preparing and submitting the final manuscript(s) together with the notification of acceptance.
